How to use the Waterfall Analysis of LFY Giving

Waterfall Analysis of LFY Giving overview and detail by donors

The Waterfall analysis allows you to see specifically the flow of donor dollar "traffic" within each segment. It allows you to follow donors what donors who gave in one year did the following year. There is one visualization for each segment (Top, Middle, and Bottom). The first box shows total giving from the year prior to the last full fiscal year. The other boxes show movement within the segment, ie. which donors gave more or less last year, how many lapsed donors (and how much they gave) in the Top Segment were recaptured last year, and how many New donors came into the segment last year.
